MSc in Epidemiology

Vicente underwent medical training at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí (UASLP) in Mexico, where he obtained extensive clinical practice, including 1 year of community service in a rural locality.

He practiced in the fields of occupational health and hospital care prior to continuing his training in the Master of Epidemiology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid (UAM). His primary inclination is in clinical care, especially in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, however, being a student in the Master’s programme gave him the opportunity to have closer contact with the field of research, which he has shown a greater interest in exploring.

He is currently collaborating on an ongoing World Health Organization project focusing on mental health in healthcare workers in the European Union, Norway and Iceland, motivated to improve the outlook for professional practice in the medical sciences.
