En los días 23, 24 y 25 de mayo tuvo lugar en Gotemburgo el Congreso de la Asociación Europea de Gerontología y Geriatría.
Nuestro grupo de investigación ha participado activamente en el mismo con la presentación de varios trabajos: «Functioning Status Profiles among Spanish Older Adults: Relationships with Quality of Life and Well-being» y «Ageing-related Trajectories of Depression Symptoms: Relationships with Sociodemographic and Health-related factors», realizado por Alejandro De La Torre; «Country-specific Differences about Mental Well-being in Late-life: The Perspective of the Oldest Old Population» y «Loneliness is Associated with Decreased Cognitive Function in Middle-and Older-aged Adults: A Longitudinal Approach», presentado por Elvira Lara; «A Longitudinal Study of the Association between Subjective Well-Being and Health Behaviours in the Older Population», realizado por Natalia Martín; y «Do Retirees and Working Older Adults Differ in their Experiential Wellbeing? Evidence from China, Finland, Ghana, India, Mexico, Poland, South Africa and Spain», realizado por Darío Moreno.
